Overcoming the obstacles

Overcoming the obstacles! After completing the Alternative to the Sex Industry” reintegration program offered by The Way Out, Mirina found a position working in the restaurant business, enrolled herself into university and found an apartment. Driven by the desire to continue this journey, she frequently consults a psychotherapist who accompanies her on the journey towards attaining her personal goals. The fruit of her journey, the shift in her outlook on life and her renewed mindset has inspired her to help other residents at the Maison des Femmes.

Overcoming the obstacles: tenacity

Mirina wholeheartedly believes that it is possible for women to overcome the barriers that prevent them from returning to society and believes that with the right support, they are able to lead fulfilling lives outside of the sex industry.

Overcoming the obstacles: with La Sortie
